Come da tradizione, l’ormai famosa Traversata del Lago di Como a nuoto Moltrasio-Torno si terrà l’ultimo Lunedì di Luglio, che quest’anno sarà lunedì 22 Luglio.
La data NON è ancora stata ufficialmente confermata.
Le iscrizioni apriranno come sempre ai primi di luglio.
La Traversata del lago di Como è una nuotata non competitiva organizzata dalla Canottieri Moltrasio. Si svolge ogni anno l’ultimo lunedì di luglio, alla sera, da Torno a Moltrasio.
L’alto numero di partecipanti richiede necessariamente la pre-iscrizione.
Ci si ritrova alle 18:00 alla Canottieri Moltrasio (Via Bellini 6). Una volta convalidata l’iscrizione e ritirata la propria boa, ci si imbarca sui gommoni verso Torno. Alle 20:00, la partenza a nuoto: 1000 metri di lago da affrontare per tornare sulla riva di Moltrasio.
L’intero percorso è seguito da operatori di salvataggio: canoe, gommoni e sommozzatori in acqua. In qualsiasi momento, basta alzare la mano per chiedere un supporto. Da quest’anno abbiamo inoltre delle speciali boe gonfiabili, che vi aiuteranno a stare a galla in caso di necessità.
Trattandosi di una manifestazione non competitiva, lasciamo piena libertà nell’attrezzatura: potete usare muta, pinne, o anche una tavoletta o un materassino. Ci interessa solo che vi divertiate!
Al rientro, gli spogliatoi della Canottieri sono a vostra disposizione per cambiarvi e fare una doccia.
Per chi desidera proseguire la serata in compagnia, vi aspetta una cena in piazza San Rocco con un menu a prezzo speciale.
Il ricavato va tutto nelle casse della Canottieri Moltrasio, per sostenere la loro preziosa e quotidiana attività sportiva.
In caso di maltempo, la manifestazione viene rimandata al giorno/i successivo/i. Non sono previsti rimborsi per mancata partecipazione, anche in caso di rinvio.
ATTENZIONE!!! I parcheggi in zona sono estremamente limitati. Raccomandiamo di applicare il più possibile il car-sharing e di venire con auto piccole/moto.

Chiaro di luna
CONCERT
Friday 14 August 2020, hours 17:30, at Villa Carlotta, Tremezzina, will take place the concert “Chiaro di luna” by Giorgio Costa (Piano), a musician with original and interesting interpretations, with a philosophical and original approach to classical pianist literature, matured not only at the keyboard, but also with a philosophical approach thanks to his studies with Sergiu Celibidache.
Giorgio Costa
Graduated under the guidance of E. Occelli with full marks at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Turin, Giorgio Costa attended advanced courses with Remo Remoli, Alberto Mozzati and Fausto Zadra at the Ecole Internationale de Piano in Lausanne.
His desire to draw on a musical mastery based on historical-philosophical premises led him to attend, since 1985, the courses of Phenomenology of Music held by Sergiu Celibidache at the University of Mainz.

Patronal Festival of SS. Pietro and Paolo
FOOD FESTIVAL
Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2020, the Pro Loco di Tremezzo organizes the traditional Patronal Festival of SS. Pietro and Paolo proposing the now typical Gnocchi di San Pietro, at the Borgo di Volesio in Tremezzo, Tremezzina (CO).
The Festival
The history of the Patronal Feast of Saints Peter and Paul is lost in the mists of time. Oral traditions tell that, given the important appeal, even the shepherds of the mountain pastures, who had climbed to the Alps for a few weeks, returned to the village for a night to celebrate their saint, venerated since the mid-seventeenth century.
The evening before the festival, traditionally the village comes alive with songs and music that begin with the concert of the Corpo Musicale “Vittorio Veneto” in loc. Cà Brusada and continue until late at night with spontaneous songs of folk tradition. The same evening, before the concert, the Associazione Pro Loco for the past twenty years has been delighting the palates of locals and tourists with the particular Gnocchi di San Pietro, potato goodies with local butter and tomato sauce.

Festival of San Giovanni
THE OLDEST LAKE COMO FESTIVAL
The Festival of San Giovanni with its spectacular fireworks, music show and solemn procession to the Comacina Island by boat is the most famous and unmissable event of Lake Como.
In this area of the lake, the shores form a sort of an inlet, right in the centre of which lays the Comacina Island, the only island of the lake. The village of Ossuccio spreads right in front of it, from along the shores up on the slopes of the surrounding mountains. This is how the Comacina Island becomes the stage where the fireworks display will take place, the waters surrounding it will be the parterre and the slopes of the mountains will become the bleachers from where to admire the show. Hundreds of boats and many steamers will position themselves in the forefront, in the bay right between the island and the village, illuminating the stage of this natural theatre.
