I’m Alberta, the owner of CASA ALBERTINA. In these difficult times of COVID-19, I want to send you my message of closeness, solidarity and hope for the future!
The world is going through a difficult time, but Lombardy in particular is going through a very difficult time. Probably the most difficult since the post-war years. The whole economy is suffering, but especially tourism.
Despite this, I am positive for our future. Lombards are active, reactive and resilient people. We will fight and get up soon! Also with your help. I know that Lake Como is one of the most beloved places in the world. So please, continue to believe in our country and choose Lake Como as your next holiday destination!
As for my home, I can say that, in addition to being a beautiful apartment with breathtaking views in a splendid noble Villa of the 700, facing the lake, it is also a safe place as far as COVID-19 is concerned. First of all, social distancing in Villa is not an issue: the common spaces are large and aerated, the stairs to access the apartment are very wide, and the building is surrounded by a huge park. In the second place, although little is known about the virus, we will do everything to perform an even more thorough cleaning than normal.

The house is located in Tremezzo, on the lakeside promenade next to the Church of San Lorenzo, in one of the most beautiful and panoramic spots of Lake Como. It is near many interesting places to visit, including the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Villa Carlotta, Parco Meier and Villa del Balbianello.
Casa Albertina (Como Lake holiday apartment) is located on the second and third floor of Villa Bertoni, a beautiful noble palace built in 1732, whose importance is well known in Tremezzo, just as with other famous historical villas along the lake.
The Villa has a large private park in which you can relax and sit in the sun, either in the solarium area or in the shaded areas near the fountains. The tennis courts are just a few steps away, as are lots of cafes and restaurants, and also the Lido of Cadenabbia with the swimming pool. I invite you to enjoy the 2 free tickets I offer for the pool during the stay!
This Como Lake holiday apartment is an excellent starting point for visiting the lake, as it is near the ferry pier for Lenno, Bellagio, Menaggio and Varenna, and is right in front of the Greenway, an amazing and world famous walk that connects you to the nearby towns.
The house is on the two top floors of the Villa, for a total of about 90 square meters, and is complete with every comfort. On the lower floor there is a spacious and airy living room with a large double sofa bed, a comfortable dining room with breathtaking views, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs, which is connected by an internal spiral staircase, you’ll find the master bedroom with a TV, a second bedroom with bunk beds a another large bathroom with a lake view jacuzzi.
The interior of the house is intimate and romantic, in part because the antique furnishings belong to my family and I wanted to share them with you. The paintings are the work of my grandfather and depict the high Lombardy countryside, for those who venture to Milan from the lake. Casa Albertina is a special place, magical and romantic .... the house is well kept, on two floors, comfortable with six beds and fully equipped. The location is strategic, close to Villa Carlotta and the Balbianello, on the Greenway of Tremezzo, and close to bars and restaurants.
The villa is surrounded by a very large park and Alberta provides two deck chairs on which you can sunbathe or enjoy the peace and relaxation in the shade of large trees.
The beach of Cadenabbia with the pool is very close as well as the pier for ferries to Menaggio, Varenna and Bellagio. There is a private parking space inside the garden, but once we arrived we left the car and we always walked around! An exceptional place to recommend to everyone.
Casa Albertina is on the two upper floors of Villa Bertoni, an eighteenth-century villa of rare beauty. The evening is magical: when the sun sets from the windows of the villa the landscape changes, the red of the sunset creates a breathtaking view ..... The villa has a very large garden to rest and is one of the villas that overlook the lake in this stretch of coast that goes from Lenno to Menaggio.
Villa Carlotta, Villa del Balbianello and Isola Comacina are just a stone's throw away. Alberta also gave us two tickets for the Lido di Cadenabbia and so we also spent a beautiful day at the pool!
Even the pier is a stone's throw away. The house is super equipped: language library, xbox, board games, dvd, stereo ... so even if it rains you will spend a fun evening!
We spent unforgettable days. Thanks Alberta for the magical stay that you gave us ....
